...welcome to Three-Creeks Press!
Recently I was reading a piece for an upcoming issue of a publication I run, the Kramer Paper. (See the side bar for more information on this. I wrote a short article about the history of the project.) He suggested that I write a blog, so as to share my work with a wider audience. While initially hesitant, after some reflection, I realized that that wasn't a bad idea.
Three Creeks Press will be a creative writing blog, a place for me to share my writing--things that happen to me, places I go, the way I see the world. Hopefully you enjoy my work, and feel free to email me or leave a comment.
If for any reason you want to learn more about where the project has been prior to this point, you can check out the aforementioned pages in the side bar. Or you can read content from the now defunct online edition of the newsletter itself at kramerpaper.blogspot.com.
As for the name, the name comes from three creeks that have played a role in various stages of my life: Roca Creek, in Ashland Oregon, Essex Creek, in Essex Montana, and Fanno Creek, in Portland Oregon.
Or perhaps its the fact that everywhere that I really settle in, I always end up discovering at least two creeks....
